History
The story of ESAB is the story of welding. When our founder Oscar
Kjellberg developed the world’s first welding electrode in 1904, he
launched a company whose innovation and uncompromising standards have
helped create the history of welding itself.

to have it added to this easy reference sheet. When you're done, you
can send the list to yourself or print it out and bring it in to the
distributor of your choice.
Grate Cutting Station
The system uses an oxy-fuel torch to cut mild steel bar grating. By
slowly feeding a carbon steel solid welding wire into the preheat flame, the torch creates a molten spray that instantly preheats the bars as
the cutting oxygen stream approaches. An automatic rotation system turns
the lower unit so that the molten spray is always leading the cutting
oxygen. This allows the torch to move continuously in an automated
pattern without stopping or slowing to preheat each bar.
Hydrocut LX
The Hydrocut LX CNC Water jet Cutting System is a heavy-duty gantry
waterjet cutting machine. This high performance machine is capable of
carrying up to four water jet cutting heads over full size steel plates.
The Hydro-cut LX easily combines water jet with other cutting and marking processes, such as plasma cutting, plasma marking, oxy-fuel cutting, ink-jet marking or drilling. The Hydro-cut is the ideal system for manufacturers, fabricators, and steel service centers who need to water jet cut steel, stainless, or aluminum plates.

Punch Marking
Pneumatic Punch Marker is a simple, rugged and reliable
device. The marking process is similar to that of a industrial
pneumatic hammer, using a hardened steel tip to impact impressions on
the surface of mild steel, stainless steel, or aluminum.
- Highly efficient at creating center punch for drilled hole location when plate must be drilled in a subsequent operation
- Scribed lines for secondary operations such as bend lines, layout lines or weldments
- Ideal for marking numbers or letters on cut parts if Vision CNC is equipped with Character Generator Option
VBA Global PRO
The VBA Global PRO is the latest update to our line of plasma bevel
systems. Now equipped with a Pneumatically Balanced tool-tip sensor and
Z-axis lifter with encoder, the VBA Global PRO can produce accurate
bevel cuts in materials from .25 to 1.5 inch thick (6 to 38 mm) as well
as utilize Precision Hole Technology for bolt-ready holes in mild steel
up to 1" thick. Bevel cutting can now be done on a dry table or under
water for improved working conditions.
Air Scribe Marking
How to order
The Scribe Marker is a simple, rugged and reliable
device that is ideal for high-speed, high accuracy marking. The scribe
marker uses an industrial hand tool with hardened steel tip to create
single point marks or scribed lines on any metal. The scribe operates on
ordinary compressed shop air, and is equipped with an air line oiler
for reliability.
